Top of the Mind: Ways to Be More Optimistic

Success Magazine

We spoke to Success about one of our favorite topics... Positive psychology. Many things in life and business are out of one's control, and learning the power one has over thoughts, reactions, stories, and assumptions is life-changing. We try to practice mindfulness every day so we can be proactive rather than reactive. Most stress is simply a choice. Here is one suggestion we offered for their piece:

"I've been a CEO and business owner for 12 years. There were more tough times than I can count... that turned out to be amazing learning experiences or blessings in disguise. I just try to keep a 'we'll see' attitude and focus on the positives. If I rode every high and low, I simply would not still be in business. As my co-founder says, "Run the tangent instead of following the curves."
